Completed music magazine (Understatement)

I did not get recommendations for improvements in my last post so I decided to ask my teacher for feedback. She advised me to put the numbers going down on the contents which I did. Also, she advised me to fill in the blank pages so I added all the red boxes in for promotion. Furthermore, She advised me to put a pull quote in which I have now done so. This will be the finished pieces after improving it from the recommendations.

Music Magazine (Understatement)

Final DPS

I ensured that I included all my branding (Understatement, three colour scheme). I copied and pasted my DPS questions from my task 6. I also typed in at the bottom "Safa A will be answering your questions on the 18 November 2014, tweet your questions to @Understatement and she'll be tweeting the answers back on her twitter @SafaA" so that the audience can get involved. All of this was created in InDesign. Overall, I would say that the DPS was easy to make, however alignment was another difficult thing for me especially with the collage however, after spending a lot of time on it, I think that the alignment is ok.

Chosen DPS images

These are the images I will be using in my DPS. I chose to make a collage for my DPS as I wanted my magazine to be versatile and also to showcase all the different poses. Most of the images I chose is where the model was looking into the camera so that it is direct address. I created both black&white and white images. The collage was created in InDesign.

Final Contents

I added in my additional images and then my contents page was finished. Overall, I would say that the contents page was more difficult to make than the front cover as I had to ensure that the alignment was correct and also had to figure out where to place the images. However, after spending quite a lot of time on the contents page I think the alignment is up to standard.
